sununsan

A lot of climbing places are developed by local and Seoul climbers. It's far away from seoul.  It takes about 4~5 hours. Junbuk, Mu-an, Bu-an, Gochang areas. It's unique characteristics cannot find any other areas in Korea. Generally, It's solid and something different.It looks little bit weird. but, it's better than other places in here for climbing harder one. 1993, It's started to make new courses in sununsan, Gochang.

halme-bawie (grandmam rock)

Located in Junbuk, Gochanggun, Asanmyeon Gaesanli. It's made by buant club members in Seoul. Total 22courses. and 1998 3courses were added at the right side of the wall. --25-- When climbers do their jobs in the Youngmungul(big cave), sununsan. This club members were looking for some good area they could make some courses. Fortunely, there are good areas around sununsan. so, they chose this halmebawie. i know so well this area about qualities. Characteristics It's vertical, overhang, handful holds and heaps of pocket holds. mainly for intermediate level left halme-bawie right number 11 in the grade upper right is B in byungbau.
